Alibaba DingTalk – International Women’s Day Campaign.
“Stand Out, Stay True.”

CLIENT
DingTalk, Alibaba’s enterprise communication platform, wanted to celebrate International Women’s Day by highlighting real stories of women who lead and inspire in the workplace.

ASSIGNMENT
I was responsible for developing the campaign’s big idea and creating the digital paintings that formed its visual identity. The goal was to show women in leadership as authentic, courageous, and unapologetically themselves.

SOLUTION & PROCESS
Drawing inspiration from interviews with female entrepreneurs and team leaders, I created a series of digital portraits that blended strength with sensitivity. Each illustration captured a woman standing out in a male-dominated industry while staying true to her values and voice.
The artwork became the visual anchor for DingTalk’s “Stand Out, Stay True” campaign, featured across short films, social media, and internal communications.

OUTCOME
The campaign gained strong visibility across Alibaba’s ecosystem, resonating deeply with female employees and online audiences. It helped redefine DingTalk’s tone — from purely functional to genuinely human and emotionally engaging.

To build market trust and awareness from scratch, we repositioned the launch around the product’s active ingredient, Minoxidil, emphasising its scientific credibility and proven results.

ASSIGNMENT
As Creative Director, I led the pitch-winning concept, managing collaboration across creative, strategy, media, client, and medical teams. My responsibility was to develop the big idea — “Minoxidil. Proven Power to Regrow.” — and to oversee the brand’s visual identity and launch event film.

We transformed a complex pharmaceutical ingredient into a relatable consumer story through the “8-Week Hair Regrowth Challenge”, featuring real participants documenting visible results.
I directed the campaign’s creative execution, ensuring scientific accuracy was balanced with emotional storytelling. From key visuals to event staging and video production, every element communicated expertise, trust, and confidence in the brand’s formula.

AstraZeneca – Pulmicort 2020–21 Brand Campaign & Content Marketing

CLIENT
AstraZeneca wanted to help parents better understand Pulmicort, an asthma treatment for children. The goal was to explain how the medicine works in a simple, friendly and engaging way, rather than through technical medical terms.

ASSIGNMENT
I came up with the main creative idea and visual concept for the campaign.
My work included designing three friendly dinosaur characters to represent the treatment process, leading the art direction, and producing the brand video, picture book, murals and short animations used in hospitals and online.

SOLUTION & PROCESS
We turned a complex medical explanation into a warm, easy-to-follow story told through three small dinosaurs. Each character helped parents and children understand how Pulmicort works, using storytelling, colour and humour instead of medical jargon.
I worked closely with the medical and marketing teams to make sure every visual was accurate yet comforting.
